On July 7th, we will not be holding a formal worship service, but instead will be having Selah Sunday. Selah is a biblical term used to indicate a time to stop and reflect.
As a church we place a high value on serving as a part of our discipleship to Jesus, and we have hundreds of people serving on volunteer teams throughout the ministries of our church. We take this time to take a break and through rest pour back into those who are spending themselves pouring out so faithfully.
We practice this twice a year- once on the last Sunday of the year and once on the Sunday near the 4th of July (about halfway through the year).
