October- First Serve Sunday

Serving is one of the marks of an authentic disciples of Jesus. As we serve Jesus and His church, we grow spiritually and we make a way for others to experience His Love and Grace.

At Antioch we believe in this so much, that one of our core values is Saved People, Serve People. As Jesus has saved and served us in the Gospel, we want to live a life of service to others.

Once a month, we facilitate 1st Serve Sunday, where you can join one of our Serve Teams.

If you are interested in joining a serve team, email hello@antiochdallas.org!

House of Prayer Interest Meeting

Coming out of our time of prayer and fasting in mid October, as a church we are wanting to gather those interested in growing in and sowing in prayer as we look to fulfill Jesus's call to be a house of prayer for all nations.

If this is you, we invite you to an interest meeting on October 29 from 12:30-1:30 in the Chapel to discuss what this might look like moving forward.

Heart For The City

This Fall we are having monthly service days called Heart for the City or H4TC for short. These planned service days are church-wide events and will be a great place to just come and serve. You don’t need to do anything or bring anything, just show up with a heart to serve and love people like Jesus.

This month we are partnering with Forerunner Mentoring to host a cookout for the kids who are mentored within their program. Forerunner is a Lake Highlands mentorship program that invests time and our energy into young men who don't live with their father. We will be hosting a family cookout to invest in their ministry and the kids in their program. Bring your entire family!

What? Forerunner Mentoring Family Cookout
When? Saturday, November 4th 10am-12pm
Where? Lake Highlands North Park (9344 Church Rd, Dallas, TX 75231)

These service days are great opportunities for us to love others that may not know Jesus, grow in serving like Jesus, and also to bring kids along to disciple them and model for them what serving like Jesus looks like

Filled Worship Night - November

Ephesians 5.18 calls us to, "be filled with the Spirit." This summer we did a teaching series on being filled with the Holy Spirit in an environment of praise and worship.

Our Filled Worship Night is a way to put experience to that teaching. We will facilitate a time of extended worship, prayer and impartation.

Come hungry and expectant.

Kids are welcome, but kids ministry is not provided during this time.

November- Heart For The City

Part of the vision of our church is to bring the hope of the Gospel and the resources of the church alongside the poor and marginalized of our city to restore, empower and build up. To practically put feet to that vision, we partner with several organizations who are doing great work and offer our time, talents and treasure in service of the poor.

As a part of that, this Fall we are having monthly service days called Heart for the City or H4TC for short :-) These planned service days are church-wide events and will be a great place to just come and serve, you don’t need to do anything or bring anything, just show up with a heart to serve and love people like Jesus.

Details on the service project are forthcoming. You can register here.
