Using a journal to record prayers, insights from Scripture, praise, and impressions from the Holy Spirit is a fantastic practice for spiritual growth.

3 Ways to Practice This:

1. Daily Prayers & Praise

Take time to express gratitude to Jesus in writing each day. Then lay your prayers before him. Finally take time to think and reflect on where God is at work in your life and write those things out.

2. Listenting Prayer

Take time to listen to the Lord, and ask Him to speak to you. You may be reminded of a Scripture, or sense an action you are to take that day, see an image in your mind's eye or gain new insight into how God is at work in your life. Record these things and reflect on them.

3. Scripture Journaling

Write in your own words what you read that morning in the Word; see it and savor it for yourself.
