World Mandate

Our announcement page is updated for the Spring Semester! If there are any church events related to your Lifegroup/Section, please make sure you click the button below and share with your group!

World Mandate, our annual missions conference, was last weekend.  The goal of the weekend was to worship God and from the place of being filled in His presence to go make disciples of all nations.

Ice Breaker:

If you attended the conference, what was one highlight or takeaway you had?

Revelation 7:9-12

9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

Discussion Questions:

  • What stands out to you in this passage?

  • If we were to put up side by side a picture of today’s world (brokenness, sin, death, etc.) with a picture of this passage, it would be drastically different to say the least. What in this passage encourages you and why?

  • How does this passage inspire or encourage you to make disciples of all nations (Mt. 28:18-20)?

  • What are common roadblocks or obstacles we face in making disciples?

Practice: Take time to identify which sphere of influence that you sense God has either called you to or put you in for this season. Pray for people in those sphere of influences together. (Could be all together in Lifegroup or sharing in smaller groups of 2 or 3).

Spheres of influence you may identify with...
