Oct. 15th

This week was such a full and rich week in the life of our church community! Here is a brief recap of some of the goings on last week:

Church-wide time of Fasting and Prayer: As a community we engaged in a time of prayer and fasting from Monday, October 8 - Wednesday,  October 11. The 3 days concluded with a time of worship and prayer as a community.

We continued our study on Sunday in our Saturate series. This weeks topic was on the way discipleship to Jesus shapes the way we view and use our resources.

The teachings so far in the series are:

1. Jesus is our Treasure

2. His Gospel Heals

3. We Are Better Together

4. We Are Blessed to Be A Blessing

Training LifeGroup Leaders - On Sunday afternoon we trained 21 new LifeGroup leaders and are excited to invest and equip new leaders to help saturate Dallas with the goodness of the Gospel of Jesus!

Filled Worship Night - Sunday concluded with an extended time of prayer, worship and impartation, as well as learning about how God speaks to His people through dreams and visions.

Baby Dedications:

Each semester we take time to pray over new babies and commit them to Jesus and His ways. This is a powerful act for parents and for our church community. This Fall we will have Baby Dedications on November 5th in the 9:30am service.

You can register here.

Prayer Interest Meeting:

Coming out of our time of prayer and fasting in mid October, as a church we are wanting to gather those interested in growing in and sowing in prayer as we look to fulfill Jesus's call to be a house of prayer for all nations.

If this is you, we invite you to an interest meeting on October 29 from 12:30-1:30 in the Chapel to discuss what this might look like moving forward.
