This week we facilitated our first week of Growth Courses for over 70 students learning and growing this fall. The picture above is from our course called Help Me Learn The Bible!
Welcome Lunch: We hosted our first Fall Welcome Lunch for people who are new to our church community. It is the best next step if you are looking to join a group, serve team or make Antioch your home church. Check the event calendar for our November lunch!
New Hire! We are really excited to announce that Namitha Conroy has joined our staff team as our Ministry Coordinator. She will help us administrate the church with excellence!
Sunday Gathering: This week in our Sunday worship service, our lead pastor Zach Daniel continue our study called Saturate. This week we will be looking at Jesus ministry of building community and how that marks our lives and mission as his followers. We will be worshipping, praying, taking communion and believing the Lord to move in a powerful way in our midst. Antioch Kids Ministry will be happening in both services!
Church Wide Time of Fasting & Prayer
October 9-11, Worship & Prayer Oct 11 from 6:30-8pm: One of the callings that Jesus put on his church was that we were to be a house of prayer. This is an area we are growing in as a community, and next week from Oct 9-11 we will be taking time as a church to fast and pray for a fresh move of God in our lives, city, and nation. On October the 11th we are inviting the whole church- kids and adults to come together for a time of prayer from 6:30-8pm.
Here are resources for fasting in general.
Filled Worship Night- October 15th 5-7PM @ Antioch
This summer we studied as a church what it meant to be filled with the Holy Spirit. On Sunday, October 15th we are putting feet to that teaching by creating more space for worship, prayer and impartation from 5-7pm. We call these nights Filled. The one we did in September was so rich. You can bring your kids, but childcare is not provided.
